The Garden Statuary Publications

November 28th, 2019:
My song “Falling Into Ourselves” is published in The Garden Statuary, the undergraduate English literary journal at the University of British Columbia, in issue 9.1 of TGS. This publication is accompanied by a short artist statement about my goals in composing and orchestrating the piece, as well as the budding seeds of the story that would be expanded on in 2021’s Shades of Living Light.

April 3rd, 2020:
My second published work in The Garden Statuary is a poem called “She Doesn’t Look Herself,” inspired by my grandmother’s funeral in North Dakota. This publication is accompanied by a piece of visual art by Ivy Tang.
